  2. Next you need to log on to your PayPal account

  3. Go to the Profile section

  4. Click API Access

  5. Click API Access Authorization

  6. Click Add

  7. Put in the API account name (reesa_api1.usa.net) given to you in your Cart32 setup e-mail.

Check these items and click Save
    - SetExpressCheckout
    - GetExpressCheckoutDetails
    - DoExpressCheckoutPayment
    - DoDirectPayment

  8. Now go to . Cart32 Web Admin.

  9. There are 2 parts to PayPal Website Payments Pro. First is Express Checkout. This is where a customer can check out with PayPal. This means that they will go to PayPal's site and get thier billing and shipping information and then come back to your Cart32 shopping cart to finish their order. To enable this feature, go to the Cart Settings -> PayPal tab and choose Yes next to the "Use PayPal Express Checkout" radio button choice.

  10. To set up PayPal to be like a merchant account, where a customer can just enter in the credit card number and have PayPal charge their card without the customer even knowing that it's done through PayPal, then go to the Enterprise Tab. You should be on the "Real Time Card Processing" tab by default. Choose "PayPal Direct Payment" from the list and then check "Use Real Time Card Processing" and click Save.

  11. Make sure that you have the right payment fields turned on. You do this by going to the Cart Settings -> Payment Information tab. Make sure you have "Show" set to "Yes" for the following items: Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Credit Card, Exp Date and CVV2. Make sure you have "Show" set to "No" for PayPal (this hides PayPal classic).

  12. Finally, in Cart Settings -> Payment Information, under PayPal Classic Settings, enter your PayPal ID in the "PayPal ID/Email" field. This tells the cart who the PayPal account holder is.
